Oriental Crunch Salad (Kit Instructions)

Oriental Crunch Salad (Kit Instructions)

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) container Mrs. Gerry’s Oriental Crunch Dressing

  • 1 (8 oz.) pouch Mrs. Gerry’s Ramen/Nut Mixture

  • 3 lb. pouch of shredded cabbage (this cabbage may also contain small amounts of shredded carrot, sliced green onion and/or snow pea pods)

Instructions

Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl. Mix gently to combine. Keep refrigerated at 33º to 39ºF. Once mixed, recommended shelf life is 24 hours.

Yield: 4.5 lbs. salad*

TIP: For other options, stir in sugar snap pea pods, water chestnuts, cooked diced chicken and/or broccoli florets. Sprinkle finished salad with chow mein noodles.

*YIELD: One case of Mrs. Gerry’s Oriental Crunch Kit will make FOUR finished salads this size.

Freshly grilled chicken wrapped in a fresh vegetable and cabbage mixture that has been tossed in our sweet oriental-flavored dressing. Ramen noodles an an extra crunch!

Ingredients

  • 1 (1 lb.) container Mrs. Gerry’s Oriental Crunch dressing
  • 1 (8 oz.) pouch Mrs. Gerry’s Ramen/Nut mixture
  • 3 lbs. pre-packaged salad mix that includes shredded cabbage, carrots, green onions, celery, etc.
  • 2 grilled chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 4 whole wheat wraps or large tortillas
  • Leaf lettuce
  • Snow pea pods

Instructions

  1. Combine Oriental Crunch dressing, ramen/nut mixture and prepackaged salad mix.
  2. Arrange lettuce leaves and snow pea pods on each wrap.
  3. Layer with 1 cup Mrs. Gerry’s Oriental Crunch Salad and top with chicken breast strips.
  4. Keep chilled at 33° to 39°F until served.

  • 1 (2.5 lb.) bag kale mix (shredded kale, red cabbage and carrots)
  • 3 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 cups dried cranberries
  • 1 (8 oz.) pouch Mrs. Gerry's Ramen/nut mixture (included)

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients into a large mixing bowl.
  2. Mix gently to combine. Keep refrigerated at 33 to 39 degrees F until serving.
