Description

Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen, Inc., a leading manufacturer of refrigerated food products, is seeking an individual with a positive attitude, good recording and organizational skills to join our team. This position is full time Monday through Friday, start time is 7:00 p.m. with a varying end time.

Qualifications

  • Experience in food manufacturing Quality Control/Sanitation preferred.

  • HACCP certified preferred but will train.

  • Must have very good communication skills to interact with Sanitation to ensure all areas are acceptable and ready for production.

  • Must take the initiative and work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Know and follow all safety and quality standards as determined by HACCP and SQF programs.

  • Pre-op all areas, including vats, foot baths, product temps., etc. to ensure that they are sanitary and in good condition for startup.

  • Prepare listeria swabs for Deibel Labs weekly, salmonella swabs weekly.
