CHEESE CHOPS
4 –6 oz. pork chops
2 tbsp. vegetable shortening
? tsp. chili powder
1 tsp. salt
? tsp. pepper
7 slices American cheese
2 tbsp. Casa Zamora Hot Sauce
¼ cup water
In a large skillet melt shortening over medium-low heat; add pork chops. Season with chili powder, salt and pepper; cook thoroughly. Arrange cheese sliced over pork chops and add Casa Zamora Hot Sauce and water; heat until cheese is melted. Serve traditionally with refried beans and tortillas. Could be served as a breakfast dish with eggs or an evening entree with vegetable, potato choice and salad.
